Musing About External Links

I follow links myself and in my posts I add lots of relevant links. Although not all readers may follow them, links are essential metadata that are as important as the content.

Yep, I add plenty of external links when it makes sense. But I probably use internal links more, referring to previous posts I've written, especially on my microblog.

Hi! Liked your blog post. I like external links in blog posts even if I don’t click on them. But with that said, external links is only filling a purpose when there is something to go deeper into or something is referred to. Adding external links just for the sake of it = completely unnecessary.
