But I don't like Metallica's newer stuff, I just keep with the pre 2000's albums.
tmo says:Yes this came out just a few months after I was born. It was “their early stuff” when my cousin introduced me to The Black Album in 1990. He was obsessed, neighbors obsessed, everyone obsessed with Metallica except me and my best friend, who considered ourselves “real” Metalheads, and heard too much pop melody in Metallica's songs, so we stayed away. They DID write quite a few killer songs, though. Cool that your local station played both albums in full!
