The closest to a distraction free editor that I know is https://writemonkey.com/. It is not a very popular one, but it satisfies pretty much all my needs (which aren't many). You still have potential distractions within the computer where that software runs, of course.

Distraction free tools are the holy grial of our age :) Best of luck with the search.

Have you tried a mechanical keyboard? For €150 you can get a fairly decent one, if you write a lot, you won't regret it.

It is maybe worth spending some time understanding which switches fit you best. Otherwise, I would recommend going for the cherry browns.
